The job

Water behind a wall is what pushes it over. We look at the soil and where the water goes before we design the wall, then build the footing, the wall and the drainage behind it as one job.

Retaining walls: questions

Anything about your own ground or schedule, call and ask.

Why does a retaining wall need drainage?

Soil soaked with rain pushes much harder than dry soil. Drain rock and a pipe behind the wall let the water out, so it isn’t leaning on the wall.

Can a concrete wall be finished to look better than plain gray?

Yes. Decorative finishes are available, so the wall fits the yard around it.
